Jill & Mike Cavanaugh
Jill and Mike Cavanaugh founded Destination Botox on April 30th, 2022. They bring collectively 45 years in the cosmetic and service industries. Jill has 22 1/2 years in the cosmetic and skincare field and Mike has 20 plus years as a cardiac specialty nurse and 2 1/2 years as an injector in the cosmetic and skincare field.
Meet Jill
Jill brings with her to the practice, numerous skin-care, and body contouring certifications. She is a Plasma Pen USA Elite and Advanced technician, certified CoolSculpting technician, and CoolTone technician. Jill also graduated from the MedSpa Institute of America, in Laser and Advanced Laser treatments in 2019. In addition, she has her OSHA Laser Safety and HIPAA Security certifications.
Jill discovered one of her true passions, which was working alongside her husband Mike, Renew MedSpa's Injector, in early 2020. She began assisting him, during the injection treatments both of Botox and Juvederm fillers for clients at Renew MedSpa in Eagan, where Jill previously was Co-founder. It was through this newfound passion and a true desire to help others look their personal best, that Jill and Mike decided to leave their positions at Renew and open Destination Botox! Jill and Mike have become visionary's in this field of "Gold-star treatments", bringing these treatments right to the clients' doorstep or inviting them to a small oasis experience in the couple's home-based spa! Jill's genuine dedication to helping others look their best and professional approach with clients is evident at every visit.
Jill lives in Apple Valley with her husband Mike, and their Chiweenie Peanut. Outside of her time at Destination Botox, Jill enjoys her time in God's word and taking time for special moments with her husband, children, and grandchildren. Staying with her passion for wellness, she also tries to focus on fitness and healthy living.
Meet Mike
Mike Cavanaugh is a 20-plus-year veteran in the nursing field, specializing in cardiac care. Mike is a registered nurse and has a bachelor of science degree in nursing. He enjoys patient interaction and is an expert at teaching people about their health issues and how to manage them for optimal outcomes. In January of 2020, Mike joined Renew MedSpa in Eagan, as their Staff Injector and trained one on one alongside Renew's renowned medical director and expert in the field of cosmetic injections for over 30 years.
Mike excelled in his injection abilities bringing with him his broad expertise in nursing along with his gregarious patient communication style. With his wife Jill, they proved to be a winning team both being results-oriented and desiring true satisfaction for their clients. It seemed like the next best step to take when Jill suggested they open Destination Botox. Thus continuing their journey to give clients their ultimate best and most affordable way to obtain these wonderful treatments. Mike’s goal at Destination Botox is to make clients feel well-cared for and delighted with their results!
In his free time, Mike enjoys weight training, guitar playing, being out on the water, reading God’s word, and spending quality time with his wife Jill, and family.
